Students continue developing their woodworking skills through project-based learning, expanding their tool use and introducing more complex techniques. Teaching is provided by qualified timber teacher with 20+ years’ experience, holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (40116LLN) and a Certificate III in Cabinet Making – Furniture. Teachers will provide ongoing instruction in safe, skilled timber work — preparing students for long-term craftsmanship or future apprenticeships.
Cost:
- $220 per term (paid before term begins) + $10 per visit
- Includes GST, glues, screws, nails, paints, finishes, sanding paper and timber, just bring yourself
- No refunds once the term starts; a $15 admin fee applies for refunds requested before the term starts
- Payment secures your preferred day and time; unpaid bookings may lose their spot
What to bring / wear
- Enclosed leather or steel-cap shoes (no runners), hair tied back, no loose clothing
- PPE and WHS compliance are mandatory; students without correct PPE cannot participate, the teacher’s decision is final.
- Bring water and a snack, classes run 2 hours
