Embrace mindfulness as you immerse yourself in the carving process, letting all your worries melt away with each cut into the wood. Everything you need will be supplied, so all you have to do is show up with a willingness to learn and create.

Remember to wear sensible clothing and enclosed leather shoes to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the workshop. Each day is from 10am to 3pm with an hour for lunch.

Women can join Woodchix for $150 per year & $10 per visit; receive hours of workshop time on Thursdays from 11am to 3pm &/OR Saturdays from 9am to 12noon. First & most importantly you will be trained in all aspects of WHS, the use of hand tools, machinery & be guided by a female instructor. The majority of materials are supplied and guidance will be given on your timber purchases or can purchase timber from Woodchix.
