Is there a minimum or set amount? No, we have no minimum set amount.
Do vouchers expire? Our gift vouchers have a valid period of 12 months from purchase.

Safety & Requirements
Is there an age requirement to attend? Student workshops and Empowering Women workshops have a minimum age requirement of high-school aged.
What should I wear or bring? Safety boots (preferably steel-caps), tied-back hair, and clothing appropriate for machinery use.
Workshops & Bookings
What skill level do I need? None at all to get started. Our workshops cater to all skill levels, and we guide you through tools, techniques, and terminology at your own pace.
Are tools and materials provided? All tools and materials are provided. We ask that you bring your own safety boots, and appropriate clothing.

Venue, Location & Access
Where is Woodchix located? Woodchix is located at 95 Great Western Highway, Emu Plains NSW 2750. We are next door to O’Donoghue’s Pub. Driveway access via Great Western Highway, or entrance via Railway Road may also be available if O’Donoghue’s Pub is open.
Is there parking on-site? Yes! We have free on-site parking, so no need to worry about paid parking or timed street spots.
Can I get there by public transport? Emu Plains train station is a short walk from the workshop if you’re coming by rail. If you’re taking the bus, the closest stop is on the Great Western Highway.
Is Woodchix dog-friendly? Yes – Woodchix workshops are dog-friendly, so well-behaved pups are welcome to tag along.
