Workshop time: Thursdays 11am to 3pm, Saturdays 9am to 12 noon, when Upholstery is on stay until 1pm.
No experience needed as you’ll be taught as you go, if you are experienced, come & learn more.
A workshop with lots of fun, learning new skills and creating and fixing with your hands.
In your initial workshops, we start off getting you comfortable with the basics of woodworking and using hand tools and machinery safely. During the ensuing workshops you will make a project or you can repair and renovate something you have and it will become a work of beauty and pride. After finishing your project, pick a plan and start your next creation.
This course incorporates:
Safety aspects of all the tools you will be using and you’ll be shown the skills and correct techniques to develop while working on your project.
Advice, discussion and teaching on what you will need to do to accomplish your project will be conducted by a qualified Timber teacher.
All glues, screws, nails, bolts, paints, finishes, sanding papers are included.
