Teachers’ Workshops – Your Stage 5 School Programs

This workshop is for male & female teachers who have previously completed Part 1 for Stage 5 Industrial Arts, but would like further training & experience to expand on your knowledge and the skills to deliver Stage 5 Timber. Bring your programs, drawings & plans and I will teach you how to make them.

Book before the 30th June on any date listed.

Woodchix is NESA accredited for 30 hours for this course and can be attained by attending all 5 days of the course.

Min 4, Max 8 teachers per block. Time: 9am to 4.00pm for 1 week.

For male & female teachers delivering Stage 5 TAS Industrial Arts Timber.

This course is specifically designed to assist teachers deliver their schools scope & sequence for Stage 5 Timber.
You’ve attended Woodchix, and now know the basics but are finding you need more knowledge, skills, techniques & understanding.
Bring your programs, drawings & plans and I will teach you how to deliver to your students, build the project & learn all the skills needed to deliver the course.
Again, you will be consistently reminded of safety aspects of the tools & machinery. WHS is most important and you will be taught what is needed for your classes.

Cost includes GST glues, screws, nails, paints, finishes, sanding papers and timber just bring yourself.

Advice, discussion and teaching on what you will need to do to accomplish your project will be

conducted by a qualified Timber teacher of 20+ years experience and a Cert IV Training & Assessment 40116LLN.

WHS is adhered to, leather enclosed shoes or steel cap shoes (NO RUNNERS), hair tied back and no loose clothing is a MUST.
